Hey all, I posted these in the 600F-specific forum last week and haven't gotten any answers, so I'm broadening my audience First question:

I was wondering if any one knows what late model forks/triples can go on an 88 F1 without too much trouble? Or should I just get some F1 forks and mod them with Progressive Suspension or Race Tech stuff?

Second question: Do things like engines and forks and triples and guages, etc. interchange from year to year within the same model? In other words, can I use an 87 engine in an 88 frame? Can I use the guages from and 89 on an 88, etc.? TIA, SR

 

I can`t help with the triple trees question, but most bike manufacturers use the same parts throughout there range for certain things. Unfortunately its one of them things unless someone knows and tells you you have to do alot of looking for.

They have parts listed from 87 for a 600F so should help you find what parts can be interchanged.
