Default Fender Eliminator Lighting

I went ahead and chopped offthe plastic for a quick diy fender eliminator, and I rigged the stock light directly under the brake light for the plate mount. My question is since the f4i has the red running light on, do you think I can just get rid of the white light? It would really clean up the look of the tail, but I don't want to risk riding around without lights on my plate.

If you do that, I would recommend getting those Lightz 'n' Bolts or the license plate lights from Advanced Auto or something, that way you dont have a reason for getting puller over at night

Definately get some kind of license plate light. Cops in FL pull over bikes constantly for not havin that. It just gives the cops a valid excuse to pull you over and hassle you if you dont have a light.

I figured as much, I was thinking of cutting a horizontal line out of the rear light fixture to get light to shine down from the running lights. whadda ya think? and are the running bulbs clear in the fixture?
