So I picked up some lower fairings from Maier-MFG, and I have a few questions on preventive care for them. I want to make sure that the heat from the engine doesn't effect them in the long term. Would adding any heat reflective type of tape help? I've seen some on Ebay that had some sort of heat absorbing or reflecting material on them. Also while on the subject, does anyone know where to get some good used lower fairing stays? They are the lower brackets that hold the actual fairing to the bike on the lower side down by the oil cooling line and opposite that on the other side, from the micro fiche's that I have looked at. I'm not really handy in making stuff like that, which is why I'm not really looking to go that route. As always your help is greatly appreciated!
