01 600 F4i going into FI and shutting down at 7000rpm. Tightened battery cables and replaced fuel pump. Any other ideas what this can be guys?

Hi and thanks for having me. Not sure what code yet, took it to a guy who was recommended to me. Bike was in storage maybe 9 months until June. It was riding fine and just started this last month. He advised it was fuel pump, changed it, an it’s still doing it. No other work was done before this.

 

Doing some Google searches you should be able to locate a PDF of the F4i service manual. May even be links on here somewhere. In there you'll find the procedure for getting the code yourself. Then go from there.
