It hit me tonight that without a cam sensor, the ECM cannot know which cylinder is on which phase, thus it would seem the F4 MUST be a wasted spark system (coils fire every revolution). Confirm?

The F4i's have a cam sensor, thus they SHOULD be sequential fuel and spark. Is the F4i sequential or is it still batch fire/wasted spark?
