I should have anticipated short tire life in a modern 150hp sportbike, but for some reason I was expecting a little more out of this tire. In less than 2,000 miles I have caused it to begin shredding center line out. I just put the damned thing on June 8.

ETA: Christ, I put this in 929 instead of 954.

 

Yah i shred those Battlax on my 600 in about 3 months ,same with dunlops, very soft compound.
I got some michelins after that, much better wear and lasted 12 months. Now on my second set.
