Default F4 or F4i?

I tried using the search button, but the words are too short to come up with any results. I know this question has been asked before but, i cant find the answer. My bike has F4i on the fairings (under the clear coat) so they are either factory bought fairings or the guy had them redone. But I was looking at the VIN tag last night when I was putting some leds on the frame, and i noticed that the VIN tag only says F4. So is my bike an F4i? or an F4? Any sure tell signs? Thanks guys

if its an 02 its an f4i. but even when you're looking up parts it comes up as an 02 f4. its kinda like(not exactly of course) having an ss camaro and the door tag only saying camaro.

The F4 has carbs, F4i fuel injection. 2002 should be an F4i, though.
