Default F2/ F3 bodywork interchangability?

will bodywork off an F or F3 fit on an F2 CBR 600? I'm curious since I'm putting my bike together, and dont have a right side lower panel. the dealer says no way will F3 parts fit, but I think they will since they're almost identical.

You can do F3 conversions on the F2, but you'd need a complete rear tail or the complete front end. F3 rear's (at least later models 97-98) have the unibody rear tail while the 95-96 should have the same F2 rear sections. The F3 front and side farings are quite different front F2's and you can not mix and match parts from them. The F3 sides are a bit longer (by about 1.5" at the front part so they won't work with an F2 front upper cowl's. Best just to stick with the F2 parts unless you can get full sections of the F3.
