Default EXPENSIVEcarb parts

i have a 900rr and am rebuilding the carbs, i just priced the gasket kit for each carb.$26 for each carb. is this resonable? thats $104 just for the gaskets. times are tight and 104 doesnt seem like a lot but at christmas time, my kids come first. does anyone know were to go getthese cheaper? i used sealant the first time and am now well aware that that is a nono. (thanks 900fighter)

I dont know if you can find them cheaper or not. But i guess that does not seem crazy to me. I assume thats a complete kit, there will be several parts and o rings in it. The main thing is this is not a highly sought after item anymore like it was 10 years ago. Price is like anything else, driven by demand.

I don't know what dealers you tried, but maybe
www.mrcycles.com could be a bit cheaper
www.davidsilverspares.co.uk are expensive too, but good.
I paid $90 for 4x carb bowl gaskets for my 1000F 2 years ago, so they aren't cheap !
