RE: exaust
so is it true that if you have a more free flowing pipe that you will have less low end?well does that mean if i want more low down power that i should use the stock pipe? and this brings up another question. if i have a more free flowing pipe should i run a more rich gas mixture or more lean? anyone know?

RE: exaust
I think this is true because this is the very reason I put just a pipe on my quad. I had been on quads with the complete system and they did not have the low end that one with just a pipe had but they could haul ***. Yeah the full system would be cool to have I guess but I like having all the low end and like rrasco said I really think the high end is covered anyway. I'm thinkin maybe I'll go with the two brothers carbon fiber unless anyone has any other recommendations for me to check out.

RE: exaust
I just bought my bike and last night was my first ride on it. It has a Two Brothers carbon muffler on it. I really like it. It has (IMHO) very nice sound that is not loud. I was also surprised by the heat. It ran much cooler than my other bikes with chromed steel mufflers. I would buy this muffler again if my got trashed/road rashed.

Bike is a 1999 CBR 600 F4. It has the C2 model TwoBrothers slip on. It is the carbon model. It does have a little raod rash on it and I was just checking with TwoBrothers on their website. They do rebuild these also. Mine only has road rash to the aluminum inlet side of the muffler. No damage at all to the carbon fiber and back.
