Was caught in heavy rain last week and while free wheeling it was briefly dying and the red oil warning light coming on. When it started back up it was lurching with the rev counter going up and down like a yo-yo. Just took it for a dry run and it's still doing this although not nearly as much as when the rain was hammering down. Is this an electrical issue? If so, what might it be? I've had starter problems at the ignition that I posted on recently. Could this be linked? Any advice, suggestions, pointers appreciated.
