Thanks Tahoe so where is this screw that I have to turn and how many times do I turn it? Until it gets tight? Until I cant turn it anymore? Thanks

 

at the very bottom of the cctl, there is a bolt with a crush washer if you remove it. in the pix, the bolt has been removed...put a small screwdriver in it, turn it to the right, the cctl shaft retracts...if you turn it counterclockwise, it pushes the shaft out...be careful with this one...at the most i would just take it apart and put extra winds in the spring and flare the tip. when you start doing the manual thing, you have tightness that you've adjusted and tension from the spring on the cam chain, which may be too much...just really don't know how tight it is.
