Default engine question

i have a 07 cbr600RR and i crased it and the engine is gone do you think a 05 cbr600rr engine will fit?

you can get it to work, but it's going to take lots of bling, time, customizing, and justmost thingsfrom the 600rr...including brain, etc.
you know the drill, you got the money you can do anything...it's not just a direct drop in though...

so essentially, what i'm trying to say is that Havoc is most likely correct! muhahhah

The only engine that will bolt into the 2007 frame is the 2007 engine. if you want something else, you've got some fabrication work to do.

Its not worth the time the frame is different, the harness is different and the brain is different, they changed alot between those years, it would cost twice as much to make it work than it would to repair the old motor. From my experience nothing on that bike is cheap, I've seen four wrecked so far this year and at regular dealer pricing all were above 4,500.00 to repair, good luck.

damn son! 4 bikes already this year? lets just hope youre talking on the track....otherwise i would consider not riding....
