Default Engine chokes, engine works works unevenly, lose of power??

Hi guys I was wondering if you could help me. Basically I ve got a problem with my CBR600f (2000) bought it 3 weeks ago and I ve noticed few weird things now. The first problem is that the engine does not work evenly (if it makes sense) when i got it on 1-2 gear and let it go without twisting the throthle (adding no gas). The second problem is that when i try to go forward fast like when I release clutch quite rapidly and twist throttle to add gass and shoot out then bike starts choking and i have to pull the clutch to prevent the engine from going off. Also think that the bike has less power in comparison to the same model of honda my mate has got. Are there any things i can do myself to sort that out or shall I go to the garrage and get them to sort that out. I d like to highlight that my knowledge about bikes and mechanics is poor. I am a beginner. Thank you for understanding.
Jack

Sounds like it could be carb/fuel line problems, does it idle OK?

Do you think theres something wrong with fuel line? and when I turn it on cold then its runs unevenly later on its a bit better when it gets wormer but still I think should be more stable than what its like now

Okay so rpms are okay, what could be that then if i am on the first/second gear and twist the throttle and it chokes? actually might go to a garage somewhere so they will be able to tell me what it is, in my opinion it seems to me like mixture of petrol and air is odd and chokes... dont know, but i am gutted

Noticed you have a big bore exhaust can on ,if the carb jets have not been changed to match that can that's where some of your problems could be , did the previous owner give you the stock can as well
