Welcome to the forum.

The 600RR is a higher revving engine and the rev limiter isn't shy about kicking in before you do damage. Just ride it and use what ever RPMs you need. You will see a different bike once you get out of the 8000 RPM range

these engines are very strong and durable, ride it hard and how u want, just correct, make sure u shift correctly and change the oil regularly, more often u beat on it and take it to redline the more u need to change your oil, keep it up on two wheels like CBRFREEK said and the bike will last u a while
