Default Electrical Question

My bike started its life as a F2 but was completely swapped to an F3 . so im stripping the fairings and redoing junky wiring they did and i have found something i dont have an answer to hoping you guys go

When sitting on the bike on the Right side there is a harness that runs down the frame, there are 2 plugs that have nothing plugged into them one is a white/clear and one is black both are weather proof 2 prong plugs and look identical.

any ideas on what they may go to?

Thanks in advance for any info

not sure bud, but you should look at the wiring diagram. but i can tell you for certain that it's not for the throttle bodies - since your f2 or f3 doesn't have throttle bodies and carbs don't have electrical wiring

well i was thinking i run it this alot doing car audio car makers put harness's in that have plug for different engines or options that may not be used on all cars. but ive never ran into this on a bike granted my working experience on the bike is pretty new compared to most here im sure these went to something i dont beleive that the bike harness would have had them if they didnt goto something(i may be wrong)

i also have a looks to be a form of valve just below the airbox that has a electric plug on it but is not plugged into anything thinking this maybe one of the other plugs mate but not sure.

UPDATE

a little searching here on the forum and i figured out that was indeed a valve the air intake valve that opens the ram duct at 12mph to the carbs. i am assuming since it wasnt hooked up that it did not function and have found a how to on the forum to bypass it with no side effects.

thankd god for the search options

well after looking at the wiring schematic i found out that the air intake control valve was indeed one of the plugs, BUT the other is still a mystery according to the schematis the only other things that use a 2 prong plug on the bike is Pulse Generator,Fuel Pump Relay and Fan Motor so i think i can safely rule out the first 2 or the bike wouldnt run so ill trace the wires from the fan today to see if thats the plug

depends on if you have a F2 or F3 wiring harness - I'm not clear on which you have.

but - if you have a F2 converted to F3 - depends on how "completely" the conversion went - the F2 didn't have a fuel pump, F3 did have a lo pressure fuel pump. If your tank doesn't have the pump - that might be the plug.

what would be a million times easier, is tell us what color wires are running into these plugs - could probably find it in a heartbeat.

sorry i have been mia last couple of days but heres the colors you asked for:
Clear/White plug : Oragne/blk tracer & Green
Black Plug : Green and Black

Hope this helps

PS there is a low pressure pump mounted and hooked up not for sure how much was swapped to F3 but looks to be a pretty good bit

Orange/Black & Green wired plug connects to the F3's Air Vent control Solenoid Valve, and the other end of that same cable pair connects to the Air Vent Control Relay. I don't know which end you have, but appears to be a completely isolated circuit if it is not plugged into either the valve or the relay.

Green & Black is plug for EVAP/CAV solenoid valve - which is a piece of emissions equipment found on California model motors. you may or may not have a Cali motor - I guess you would know best if you've got all the smog parts installed.
