Ok,This is my first post and I was hoping someone could help.I have a cbr600rr 04 and I have been having problems with the blinkers.I put some after market blinkers on and they worked fine,until........I layed the bike down on the left hand side.After fixing all of the cosmetics I went for a ride.The blinkers seemed to just stay on and/or the running lights.They melted off it got so hot.I then bought a new light tail light that has intergrated turn signals and hooked it up.When I plug the factory plug with the other the tail light is red,when I brake it brightens up,seemed to be right..Now when I hook up the blinkers the tail light turns from red to yellow and when I turn the blinkers on left or right it blinks red.The resisters that it runs through get really hot,to hot to hold.I have tried everything,I made sure it was all wired up right,I took all plastics off the check for a loose wire or a crimp in the wiring harness from the crash.Not sure whats next/Can anyone help.Sorry for thethread,kinda hard to exlpin it all in short.Thanks.

 

ok I'm confused also. if your wires or reasistors are getting hot something is crossed or shorted just do a continuity test and fix which ones are. the wires get hot because they are trying to back feed
