Default easy way to pop dents?

hello!

i have a 97 cbr 900rr and the gas tank is dented. i'm going to refinish it myself, but was wondering if there was an easy way i could pop out to huge dents in the side of the gas tank without welding and pulling. i hear thats pretty dangerous even when the tank is empty. i've been trying to get a pry bar in and hitting it with a hammer from the inside. it's working but before i go through all of that i was wondering if there was any other ways anyone would suggest! thanks!

I do not know of an easy way, but the large suction cup dent pullers, 99% chance they wont work on the tank.
