bike calls for DOT4 is dot 3 ok to use?

NO,just spend a few dollars and get the right one.There are different grades for a reason,why take a chance on screwing up the system? Just my opinion of course..........

DOT 3 is fine as long as you don't mix the 2.... the only difference is the lower boiling point on DOT 3
