Do you use preload adjusters?
For me, they're more of an aesthetic piece to have. They're cool though.
I only touch my preload a few times a year. Like when new tires are fitted or in the off-season to soften a bit the ride since I'm not all-out on her.

thanks for the info. I've been asking around and it's more of a aesthetic thing rather than functional. I'm in the middle of designing some carbon ones just to see if I can do it and how they come out.
I'll make a couple of sets and see how it goes from there. If nothing then I'll put it on the back burner and find another project.

. They're really useful on dirt though. If you go between the street and track, it's useful to swap springs and run less race sag, but that's a lot of work.
