Default Do Proton Flushmounts need Resistors?

Anyone? I installed these, and everything works great, but the blink speed is way too fast, even in "pulse" mode. Their site says:

"Internally balanced for correct blink speed regardless of load
"

That should mean the load is balanced internally, so no additional resistance is needed, right? I did NOT connect the running light wire, as I don't need that functionality. I've never had that be a problem on other bikes, so I can't imagine that's the issue here. . .They're closed til Monday, so I figured I'd ask here. These things look REALLY good, FYI.

i fitted a pair of led ones on the back of an 04 blade with standard ones on front..they flashed so fast in daylight you could hardly see them..i am fitting resistors next week..it said on the packet no resistors needed..dont always believe what u r told..resistors are only a few quid so not a lot of expense

I have Protons on the 954 with the running lights connected and they flash correctly. Buddy has R1, also works fine.

Same here. Have a set on my F4i with the running hooked up and flash at normal speed.
