probably a little bit louder yes. some pipes are inheriently louder , but when i cut my chm pipe down in 1/2 it actually gave it a deeper tone, much nicer.

chop saw offers the quickest and straightest cut. take it into a exhaust shop and im sure they'll just cut it for you well atleast the one i went to did

So I was going to cut it into a shorty. But I realized that I'm going to run out of space. If I cut it into a shorty, the bracket will go over the yoshi emblem and IMO that would look kind of retarded. Unless...there's another way to mount it?

honestly with it that short you wont need the bracket. just cut it already you will be much happier
