Bent Rim - Fixable?
Hey have a question!
I crashed my 1000rr and I bent the back rim kinda bad (see photo). I was wondering if you guys know if it fixable and if it will be just as strong as brand new. I have been searching for a replacment rim for awhile and I cant find anything cheap. Please let me know what you think or if you know of any places in California to get it fixed. I might be able to ship it somewhere too!

YES, you can get it fixed:

Email Gerry at the link above with some pics. He'll be able to tell you if its beyond repair. I've seen worse than that fixed by him.

Yes, you can fix a bent rim. Lots of places charge serious $$$, just make sure you get specifics on how accurate they can get it. I've had a couple bent rims fixed by Will at Will's Rim Repair in SC. He comes highly recommended from WERA riders in the southeast. Here's his number
