Bent Rim - Fixable?
Hey have a question!
I crashed my 1000rr and I bent the back rim kinda bad (see photo). I was wondering if you guys know if it fixable and if it will be just as strong as brand new. I have been searching for a replacment rim for awhile and I cant find anything cheap. Please let me know what you think or if you know of any places in California to get it fixed. I might be able to ship it somewhere too!

YES, you can get it fixed:

Email Gerry at the link above with some pics. He'll be able to tell you if its beyond repair. I've seen worse than that fixed by him.

RE: Bent Rim - Fixable?
Yes, you can fix a bent rim. Lots of places charge serious $$$, just make sure you get specifics on how accurate they can get it. I've had a couple bent rims fixed by Will at Will's Rim Repair in SC. He comes highly recommended from WERA riders in the southeast. Here's his number864) 787-1351
