decal removal?

Default decal removal?

decal removal? ok i try using a heat gun on it and got the sticker off but it leave the stickey goo behind. how can i remove that or is there a better way removing decals off the plastic?

try something called goo gone. you can get it at your local walgreens type store

No need to buy anything special. I am sure you have a can of WD-40 around, spray it on and wipe off the glue from the sticker, its easy and it does nothing to your paint. I have removed a ton of stickers this way!!! Just remember to wash the area with soap and water afterwards or it will collect all kinds of grime.

Denatured alcohol is the best to get any kind of residue off. Just wipe whatever you clean down with a wet rag or cloth afterwards. Wd-40 works great as well, but then you have to clean up the Wd-40 residue as well.

just be carefull because if you use the wrong chemical or some paint thinners like MEK, you will take the finish off the paint.

my bet is still on goo gone. i have used it on almost every kind of sticker residue on bikes and cars, and textbooks etc.

right now im using Denatured Alcohol and that working good. i will try to pick so goo gone if i dont get it all done with alc.
