Dealership Invoice- Labor questions

RE: Dealership Invoice- Labor questions
I figure it was an easy decition since 16k service was like $450 or so parts and labor. I said THAT wasa heck of a deal. I got treated quite well from them too. Aside from a grippe here and there on parts(~$30 bux worth), it's all good (not including the labor issue). Just want to have my ducks ina row whenI go in to the dealership. Anyone have a shop manual with labor rates that I could access online?

Yes, a tool is needed to cut the chain.
For anyone looking for answers, a 16k service does NOT include TB sync. It's not even on the chart. I should have checked my service manual before going into the dealership.
At what point does Honda recommend this be done...ever? I know Suzuki has it in their manual. I guess Honda is bullet proof, huh?

At the risk of sounding like a smarta$$, didn't you get a written estimate prior to the job? It seems a little backwards to have them do the work and then complain it is too high if you did not know how much it was going to be in the first place. Again, not trying to be a smarta$$...

I shopped around, but did not get a written estimate of all the things I wanted done. I took some of the things for granted and made my decison based on major service. Didn't think about the "little" things adding up.
Better to be a smart a$$ than a dumb a$$. I've been the latter in this case.
But alas, she sent me an email detailing a refund on parts prices.
