Default Crankcase Cover Help!

I own a 2001 CBR 600 F4i. To make a long story short I needed to replace the clutch cable on the bike. When I finally installed the new cable there is absolutely no more resistance when I pull the clutch lever. There is also no resistance on the little arm that comes out of the crankcase that engages the clutch. I'm thinking that while I was installing the new cable, I must have jarred something loose? My real delimma now is that I have taken off all the bolts that hold the crankcase cover on, but the thing WILL NOT come off. I've done everything possible. I can't wedge it or anything, and I don't want to break it by pounding on it. What could be keeping that sucker from budging? Also, any advice for getting it off?
Thanks

Rotate the clutch lever (the one coming out of the clutch cover) in the opposite direction that it normally rotates. This should push against the clutches instead of pulling on them and if ALL (make double damn sure that you have removed ALL of the bolts), then the clutch cover should pop off. If not, try tapping around the perimeter with a rubber mallet a few times. The gaskets get pretty tough after a while.

Once you get it off, I'd suggest getting a whole new gasket for that cover when you put it back together. Throw some pics up too.
