Newbie to the forum. I have a 04 1000rr . Today doing a group ride, most but not all of my engine ice came out of my bike. I can't find my manual to see what I'm looking for. I need help on troubleshooting ideas. What hoses to check, where to look for the leak. I don't want to get screwed at a bike shop. My old bike shop moved out of my area, I have to try someone new. The leak came out from under/over my exhaust, I think.

 

You need to take the some of the plastics off your bike so you can see better what is going on. Could be anything...busted hose to a pump that is bad.How longago did youswitch to the engine ice coolant? could be something really silly...a hose that was not tightened back, or even a radiator petcock that wasn't closed. Easy thing to do is to put some water or antifreeze back in it and start it up and see where is starts leaking.
