Default Coating engine casings with epoxy

First post, and love the site!

I'm building a race bike, and want to coat the inside of my case..... I'm told epoxy works, any other ideas and what type?

Thanks!

Why would you want to coat the inside of your engine ?
If any of it flakes off, it'll go into the oil, the bearings, rings, valves, water channels etc etc.

I wouldn't do it, even to my road bike.

Welcome to the site and enjoy !
