Default Clutch not disengaging...supposed to drag a little?

Purchased a 04 f4i with 20k miles on it, runs and shifts great, however, when I am trying to push the bike while in gear (clutch pulled in) it takes a lot of force. Aounsa like it is dragging to me. My F3 did that around 40k miles too. Other than that, It rides and shifts fine.

Is my clutch shot or not disengaging and in need of adjustment?

Other Symptom is:

when I had the rear tire in the air, I fired up the bike and put it in 1st. The rear tire did not spin until I disengaged the clutch, but it would not STOP spinning after I pulled the clutch back in. I actually had to hit the brake while clutching to get it to stop and then it would not spin again until disengaging again.

An ideas?

I`d Try the clutch cable adjustment first, if not may be the plates wearing?

you sure the dragging sound is not the front brakes when you were pushing it?
it shouldn't be like super duper hard to push or anything...but i don't know...i'm yoked like a mawfaki though.

for the tire in the air, did the RPM drop?
mine still spins but not like forever...it'll eventually stop. if it doesn't then try adjusting your cable first like anub said.

yeah, your clutch is wearing a little. this is no big deal. its is what clutches do. you should just adjust the clutch cable on the handlebars. I'm guessing that will be enough for what you need to do. since you dont notice it when you are driving its definitely not a problem

lol @ dreamer

CBRF3 make sure ur brake pads aren't touching the rotor and is acting as a brake.
if u push the bike in neutral than it is not that case
and is ur clutch as u said
