Default Choke problems and can't idle normal

i have a 96 cbr 600 f3. It will only start with the choke on and the choke needs to stay on or the Bike will die. Even after the engine is warmed up. Also when the choke is on the bike idled at around 2200 rpm. I think the normal idle for the bike is around 1100. When I start to push the choke lever up the rpm with drop and will eventually die before the choke is even completely off

Hi , you really need to take the carbs off and have them cleaned, there is places that will do it for you if you don't want to do it yourself

I would say yes it is still safe to ride, but it will let you down eventually, it does seem that it is only a fuelling problem and does need sorting
