Default CBR600rr fairings on a CBR600F4I

Hey guys. Im looking at getting new fairings for my 2003 CBR600F4I. I have found a set for an 03-06 CBR600RR. Has anyone done this before and if so how well does it bolt up?

It has been done before. Here is a thread about it.https://cbrforum.com/forum/f4i-main-...ersion-113700/. It is not a direct bolt on but the guy said it wasn't too hard. I don't really care for it because there are gaps like under the seat and there are no ram air covers. Also the pics don't show what he did with the under tail. On the RR the exhaust goes there so there is no need for on but on the F4i there is so you would have to fab up your own.

just curious, but why RR fairing on F4i? I think the tank makes it look akward. Again, I am just curious. (im not telling you what to do because after all, it is YOUR bike.)

I agree....it looks good from the front but from the side its sort of awkward looking i think with the tank and exhaust, but its not terrible. The f4i is already a good looking bike so i dont think the rr fairings on it is a huge improvement. I am a pretty big fan of the 600rr tail on the f4i though. Maybe try that out first?

I really don't want to put rr fairings on there. Im looking for new fairings and found a good set for the rr for a decent price. After doing some research and reading your comments I'm going to stay away from the rr fairings and just order new ones. Thanks guys!

check out CBRfairings.com

In the long run, it'll be cheaper since you wont have a need to buy RR headlights...
