Can anyone tell Me where to find a petcock rebuild kit for a 91' CBR600 F2?

I looked long and hard to figure out what was going on with mine when I had the same problem. This is what I found to be the case for mine, thought I'd update this posting with some more info for the next guy that comes along.

These bikes use a vacuum controlled petcock, basically whenever the engine is off the shuts off the valve. The part that goes bad is called the petcock "cover set". This is the vacuum part of the valve, when the diaphragm tears it will leak fuel from a little nipple on the bottom of the cover set. A new petcock is in the neighborhood of about $180, but the cover set is only about $30. If you do a Google search for this part number 16953MV9000 you'll find the cover set.

Yes, thanks Cal. I guess I'm lucky then because mine has a fuel pump that doesn't require the diaphragm, so new petcocks are less than fifty bucks.
