It's always possible the pump is bad, though I haven't heard of any going bad on the newer bikes. Did you check power AND ground? I don't have the schematic in front of me, but alot of things are hot at all times on the + and then ground side switched through the relay or a module

nevermind -- read your other post.
So explain what brought on this condition -- I mean did you go to crank it one day and it just wouldn't start or did you modify something or have the tank up or what?
I've got over 14K on mine with no issues and I haven't read about any issues (especially fuel pump related). If you don't have the internet connection to download the manual from MgAoDen then PM me and I can mail it to you on a CD -- you really need the manual to start tracking down electrical problems and to diagnose whether a part is bad.
