Hey Y'all! I finally broke in my new CBR 1000 and was wondering if any of you have any recommendations as to where to take the bike for it's first service. I'm in Los Angeles county on the east side... I'm sure the service is something I could do myself, but doesn't a dealer have to do it for sake of the warranty? Any info you could give would be appreciated.

 

Never Mind !!! I took it North Hollywood Honda... only $130 bucks. NOT TOO BAD FOR AN OIL CHANGE !!!!

That's probably the last time I will take it to the dealer...Gosh their expensive.

 

damn that is alot. i do mine my self and for filter and 4 qts of oil its only about 23 bucks

 

most of these bikes don't require any real servicing for quite awhile. oil changes and inspections are the basic stuff for many miles. take the time to change the oil (15 minutes) and ride.
