I see quite a few different brands and windshields out there that are made slightly different "double bubble" for aerodynamics. Anything else I should b looking for or the type of material used to make the wind shields or good brands? I assume cheap brands have fitment issues sometimes.

i got a new smoked double bubble windscreen from fairing factory bought mine off of ebay, youd have to call or check em out to see if they make one for you bike but they are phenominal i included a link to a video of theres showing the quality of the product, i only paid 10 bucks for mine no shipping cause i picked it up from the guy on ebay cause he actually lives near me and it fits perfectly. but you want to look for ones that are made with raw non recycled flexible material like acrylic and that are injection molded not pressed but windshields should be able to get a cheaper made one cause its just a windshield theres not much to em like a fairing or something, but anyways check out the link below for the fairing factory windshields just a vid.

Ok yea lT looked like the acrylic was the way to go. That's a crazy vid. And yea 1 I can't find fairings factory products on eBay and 2 they don't make one for my 98f3 but found one for 30$ shipped acrylic. Thanks!

 

i had a Puig db on my f4 and loved it. good quality. the f4 is one of the bikes that everyone complained the db would melt the display by focusing light (never happened to me) -- Puig is the only one that I know of that a) provided a free fix and b) now claims that the issue cannot happen with any of their shields.
