Default CBR holes in airbox?

While pulling the airbox off my 600f4i, I noticed 2 small holes on either side of the air box. They are open on the bottom and I'm assuming they will cause a vacuum leak or high idle... Are these normal or are they supposed to be blocked off?

Thanks

These holes are before throttle-plates, so won't affect anything to do with load-calculations and won't affect idle or cause vacuum-leaks.

Not exactly familiar with that model, but from what I know of others, you should have these connections to airbox:

- crankcase vent (through head?)
- EVAP canister purge valve
- PAIR valve input

Find these components and check in manual to see where they connect to airbox.
