cbr handle bar
Bar size is the same on basically all newer bikes. If you need to replace the complete clip on then I'm sure its the same also.
It will fit, but i suggest that you replace both. Many brand sell in pairs. If you want to only replace one? Then better to stick with 93-94, it just sound right. The buyer may state that handle bar is 96' but that's what he was told, it may end up being a 98. That's the risk factor buying used, the seller only knows why's he is told. And when dealing with balance & stability of the bike, replace in pair...it just feels right
Hi,
Thanks for getting back to me.
I just bought a 1993 cbr that's had a slide, the right handlebar's snapped but I think I'll replace both of them just to be sure.
There's one other thing could you tell me if a 2005 cbr 1000's rearsets will fit?
If not is there other years/models that will?
Thanks,
Fangy.

I doubt it fit, many Honda keep parts interchangeable within 4 year term...meaning they'll make a major change every 4 years.
With the original fireblade, stick with 93-99....most will fit but not all parts. You can research how sellers sell them. Some trusted sellers will list all years...
You can also go on any Honda CBR oem website, identify the exact part for your year, then get to oem part#, then check other years, you'll be surprise how many other year share same part number.
Search eBay & be patience, once a while some seller will list the exact parts you want at your spare change.
Don't hurry, just make bike safe to ride, then upgrade slowly...or else you'll be over spending on the bike, than food...lol...
