cbr 600 1992 (f2)
Hey guys
my friends cbr has developed a problem of missing when the bike gets warm in heavy traffic, it also gets very hard to start once the engine is switched off when the bike is warm,
the bike has been to 3 dfealers and has them stumped.
Help Anyone.....!!!

Does the bike crank over slow when its warm? Or normal speed and just not start?
Does have any issues once it is running and warm?
In addition to the carbs, if its only doing while its warm, it could be electrical. Generally the resistance goes higher on electrical components when they get warm. If you have components that are near their spec limit at amb temp, they could go out of their spec while warm and create a hard start situation. Things like the coil are quite common. Another electrical component I would check is especially if the bike is cranking over slower, would be the starter solenoid. Also, a weak battery can cause some issues if the battery is low of acid and overheating as well. I would check all of these components at amb temp and also when they are warm.
Also, if the bike is cranking over slower than normal while warm, it will take longer to start. These bikes require a the engine to crank pretty fast in order to start.

all electrical checked, battery is new, i think its carb issues myself,
the bike was dyno jetted, but since it started to run badly these have been changed
so standard again, with no joy, its not as bad as before jet change
bike cranks ok just hard to start when warm, thank you for the input guys,
