I have problems with my Honda Fireblade 900 rr 1992 it rattles very much up to 4000 rpm. It is clearly most pronounced when the bike is in gear and pulls. it can hardly be heard while standing in neutral.
I changed the cam chain, tensioner and guides. There are sports filter and sports exhaust. I have changed to larger jets.
The bike has done around 35000 km

Have some ideas for what could be wrong?

The sound is very pronounced but disappears completely above 4000 rpm.

Do you notice the noise go away when you pull in the clutch lever ? It's possible you're getting a clutch basket rattle.

 

Yep , IDoDirt hits it on the nail-head ,,again ,,Kinda spooky hows he does that LOL!! about 10 yrs ago I had a cracked clutch plate & broke spring do the same thing . Only vibrated in gear ,, at speed it got worse till high rpm .
I'd check that out asap ,, before you damage the basket . The only thing I can think of is ,, if not that ,, a balancer shaft ? The clutch is more likely.
