Hi Guys.
I have a cbr600 ft 1996 and i have a running problem in 5th/6th gear at 70mph,atabout 3500/4000 revs the bikes revs fluctuate almost like a missfire.I have checked the plugs and they are all ok(no fouling)i have used a vacumn on the carbs to set them up and have equal pressures across all pots.I am thinking about a dynojet stage 1 kit to try and smooth out the midrange,the only issue is the bike has had a fireblade engine fitted and i am unsure if the carbs off the 600cc engine have been re-used.Can anyone advise me if the carbs are interchangeable???.
The original airbox has been modified slightly so that leads me to think a "complete engine"was swopped including carbs.
Any advice greatly accepted.
