I'm thinking about takingthem apart and adding some LED's. Just dont have the bike nearby to look......

 

They are certainly not designed to be taken apart, but if you're real careful, you might be able to trim the plastic around the mirror enough to pop the mirror out or possibly even heat the assembly up enough to make the plastic malleable and take the mirror out. Either way seems pretty risky and extremely time consuming. I was toying around with this idea too but decided against it.

 

I think someone on this forum has installed LED turn signals into their stock mirror. Either that or they got the GSXR mirrors and replaced the stock ones...can't remember.
