Just bought a cbr600f4 track bike and realised when I got it home it had a small hairline crack in the front of the engine block where the radiator bolts on and it's leaking water, just wondering is it worth my while to get it welded? I have a spare engine I got with the bike but I'm not sure if it runs,I could swap the block on both engines if I needed to,what's everyone's opinions? Thanks in advance
Have you spoken to a welder about it yet? It's a bit more involved than just putting a welder to it and zapping it. The amount of work it would take to repair it is far greater than replacing it, and you have one already.
