UK Jase, I wouldn't do it. Like someone else said, it will screw with the profile of the tire unless you get a wider rim, and it will compromise the handling. I think the stock F2 rims are 4.5" and designed for a 160. I think an F3 rim might work ok, tho, because they are 5" rim (even tho the stock size is 160 also).

im not trying to impress any one smart @$5. you wanna see come on over. you dont have anything worth a dmn to type you might just want to not type anything.....if you want i can send you a youtube of me putting the tire on the rim by hand. cause im shure you prob pay someone to do it as well as change your plugs and everything else.
You definitely need to chill out, man. (And stop putting 210's on F4s...)
It's just not cool.

Wider tires make our bikes ride worse... I can understand OP trying to keep his cheap source of tires working for him but the rest of you going on about 190s and 210s... oy.

Spending more, for more rubber, of which you actually will use less. Let's think this one through, eh? lol

Default All sorted now

Thanks to all who replied and to those who went bonkers over a tyre!!

I've now fitted a 180 after talking to several "CBR steely" Auto66 Club racers who use a 180. They say it does tip in a bit quicker but as I'm a noob I wont notice it (thanks chaps). Bike looks mega with a 180 on it and I'm at my first trackday at Cadwell Park in the UK Friday next week. Need the sun....

thanks all

Default Pics of 180 rear tyre on stabdard F2 rim

Hi all

See below and/or my album. Been out today and feels fine. New fully race scrubbed rubber front and rear so feels a bit strange at mo but track day will sort that out. Felt very nice and turned in well once tyre up to temp - hope you like my ride
