Hi I've got a scrap cam sensor new to riding and bikes what I'm trying to find out is will a cam sensor of a rr same year fit and work they look the same as can't get one

 

There's a good chance it would. I had a first gen 1000rr one on my 954 when the original burnt out.

Make sure its the same length and its the same kind (hall vs magnetic).

Or you could use bikebandit to cross reference both sensors. They're probably the same part #.
