Which to buy first?
Ok, so my chain and sprockets are going bad. My chain is near the end of its life as I have tightened it pretty close to all the way. I've noticed when I ride near the front sprocket I keep getting this noise, very consistently every rotation. I took a look and saw that the chain was touching the chain guard. I though it was weird seeing that since the chain is tightened properly with an inch of movement. Could this be because the sprockets are worn?
Unfortunately I can't cough up enough to buy a whole new kit just yet, so I was thinking to just get a new chain, then wait 2 weeks and get the new sprockets, or should it be the other way around? I'm just afraid my chain wouldn't last the 2 weeks.

I actually found an affordable standard set on ebay. Just always have been weary of ebay, but it's an actual motorsports company selling so I guess theyre legit. Will this solve the chain laying on my chain guard problem and the noise its making?
Frame slider. It's rubber. It's supposed to rub on that. Just gotta watch that it doesn't rub through and hit the swingarm. I replace mine with every chain replacement. If you're unsure what you're looking at and feel up to a ride to south OC in the morning, I'll take a look at it for you.
