Broken Key
So i leave work the other day, dig into my pocket and pull out half of my key.
The bike has sat for a day in a parking lot at the local 'outdoor mall' but i know all the security guards.
I have to get a key cut tomorrow morning. Anyone have a guess on price?

do you have the other half of the key?
If so, you may beable to jb weld it together so they can copy it, other than that, I think its a dealer only item. I dont know of anywhere other than them that carry motorcylce key blanks.
Also, depending on the year, if its new enough, you can take the number off the key and bring that with your title to a dealership and I think they can order a new key.

Keys from the stealership do not come cut. Stealerships can only order blank keys and they do not have any cross reference with VINs like automotive stealerships. I would follow justasquid's advice and try to cut a key from the broken one at a locksmith. A good locksmith will be able to work some magic with the broken key.
