Default Broke down the day I bought it

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I recently bought a CBR 600 F4i and it broke down 3 miles from the sellers house. It seemed fine, but the day it was picked up it broke down on the freeway. Here is what was wrong.
1. At 65 mph the bike sputtered and died repeatedly.
2. Heavy fuel smell from bike accomponied by this white burning fuel smoke.

Upon inspection we found a broken Header stud and sever lose or broken rubber fuel lines. We have fixed the fuel lines , however, I cant seem to get the bolt out of the block. I have tried to drill it out and use an easy out, but the easy out broke.... It this problem expensive to fix at a shop? Do you think I should just sell the bike?

Shoot penetrating oil on the stuck stud, soak it, and let it sit for a while (like overnight.) Is it completely broken off, or is there a little left sticking out?

It's fixable, so don't despair too much. Anything can be fixed and repaired. It'll just take a little time and patience. (and possibly some green.)

Good luck man.

Welcome to the forum. Sorry about your bike. Be careful, as the engine is aluminum and you don't want to ruin it from your frustrated efforts to remove that stud.
Post a pic so we can see what you're talking about. Try the whole penetrating oil thing first though... yeah, what Blue Fox said!
