Default Blinking FI light

I have a 02 f4i, when I start it, it barely putts for about fifteen seconds then idles fine. Bike runs great, just did plugs, and oil change. Started bike upon completion and thats when it started flashing "FI" , also when in gear it stays lit up. Any help is, appreciated.

Look at the flashes very carefully. Some flashes will be long and some will be short. Count them. ___ long flashes and ___ short ones.

Then Google it. You should be able to find the fault codes and what they mean. It just might be a simple problem of not clearing the code after your plugs and oil change job.

Two blinks indicates the MAP sensor. I think just about everyone forgets to plug that thing in when they put the airbox back on.

Finally got it. When I pulled up the airbox to replace plugs this super small hose that connects to the map sensor fell out of sight. I found it and got it put back on. Issue resolved. Thanks for the help guys. Hope I can return the favor some day.
