Default Bike won't start, only been sitting a day.

I went drinking saturday, had to work Sunday morning and was too hung over to ride so left bike at buddies place. This is on an 03 f4i with 5k miles just FYI, and res tank just came on before I parked her. Anyways I go to pick up today(Monday) and she starts just fine, I had trouble finding my buddies key so I turned her off while I ran into his app to get my helmet and jacket. Come back out to start her and nothing... Now I'm not used to FI bikes yet, previous bike was an 04 katana, so I accidentally tried to start when it was still doing that counting down thingy. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

I forgot to mention, when I say it won't start, it's not even trying to turn over. I press the starter button and it maybe makes one attempt and then nothing. If I hold it down you can hear it going "click click click click" but nothing else

Just put gas in, that isn't the problem. To me it seems like the battery is dead or something becayse it just refuses to do anything when I press the starter. How do I remove the seat? Maybe I can jump her.. But why would it start fine the first time today then? Could I have blown something when I started it too soon? All lights work but my headlights, neither will come on

Should be a latch, or a couple bolts that hold the seat on. If its a latch it should be under the tail? i could be wrong, just look around you should be able to find it.

Try charging the battery, sounds like your main problem. You probably used the last bit of juice starting it, then maybe left the key on when you walked inside?

Yeah I def left the key on, won't be off work till 10 so can't check in daylight but thanks, that's what I was thinking as well. Only 5k miles leads me to believe it's most likely an old battery, and the bike just held it charged while I was riding, because I rode the hell out of this bike the past couple days. Appreciate the reply man, just pissed me off lol I was ready to ride and now I gotta drive my cage around

Ok does anyone know for sure how to get the seat off an 01-03 cbr f4i? Googling gave me so many mixed options from bolts to a latch

Have you try push start in 2nd gear?

Regarding removal of the seat to get to battery...idk about the F4i, but most Honda, you fold the seat corners upward, and bolts are underneath....

Yeah after more research I believe it's two 10mm bolts, guessing just need to undo those and I'm good? And no I didn't push start, was running late to work already so I just had to leave
