Default bike stands....

so in two weeks i am going to finally have the money to ship out my wheels to trg and get them coated up all pretty like! unfortunately i have NO stands....i was looking at steel horse for the combo front rear stand set...it's $150.....i don't know, is it worth that much or can i get a combo for cheaper...i need both front and rear so i can send both wheels in at the same time....

they do have to be pretty solid as i will be disassembling my bike in my condo garage and leaving there for the week while the wheels are painted....thanks in advance guys!

never heard of steel horse before...
many used T-rex stands with minor issues.
i use handystands. it was 120 for the set...best stands for the money. no slipping issues, etc.

I have T-Rex stands, no problems as of yet. But some people have issues with the rear stand with the pad slipping down the swing arm. If you wipe the bottom of your swing arm off before you prop it up, it wont slide as much, as sometimes crap gets under there. One time I had trouble with the front, because I wasn't patient with putting the pads onto the forks properly, but nothing really happened. Otherwise, the T-Rex stands work pretty well for me.

there's really no need for spools. but if you want spools, you can either get tabs welded on at the bottom of the swinger or you can tap for spools using them inserts.
